VENUE
Competition will be held in Helsinki Climbing Center which is situated
in northern Helsinki at Tapanila. The wall is 14 to 16 meter high and
consists 1900 square meters. The structure is mainly 3-D panels which
are formed like a natural stone. Main parts of the wall are overhanging
10-30 degrees but there are also vertical sections.
Helsinki Climbing Center, Erätie 3. Bus 72 from Helsinki-Rautatientori
railway station and 500m. from Tapanila railway station.

COMPETITION INFO
Difficulty
men and women. Men category: quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. Womens
category: semifinals and finals. Competitition is judged according to
ICC rules.
PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION
Competition
is open for every nation. In case there will be too many competitors
from non scandinavian countries judges can cancel the participation
of them. This will be informed on 20.10.2002.
All
competitors must be registered by their national federations on the

for registration is 15.10.2002.

NIGHT PARTY
The official night party will be held on Saturday after the competition.
Karlssons diashow will introduce great climbing pictures. Watch the
premier of finnish climbing movie Northern Light and dance your brain
out with DJ Pectus, Sacharias and Viagra.
Tickets are 14 € with buffet and 6 € without. Buffet is served
free for competitors. Everybody is welcome. For national teams, make
your reservation at last 25.10 via email jari.koski@climbing.fi. Get
your tickets in advance from climbingstores Camu/ Vuorikatu 8 and Mountain
Shop/ Annankatu 15 or from the competition venue.
